The Canterbury Business Recovery Trust was established after the February 2011 earthquake to provide cash-injections to help businesses survive, revive and thrive. To date the Trust has distributed more than $5.6 million to 360 viable but earthquake-affected Canterbury businesses to cover earthquake-related costs or costs related to the implementation of their business recovery plan.
While much of the Trust’s funds are now largely committed there is a small amount of funding still available and applications are still being accepted.
